Due to our strong relationships with key suppliers, skilled inventory management, the MSI Method and quality assurance, we provide our Clients with a relationship-driven, quality-focused solution while also reducing project schedules and costs.
Strong Relationships with Key Suppliers
Because we have established strong relationships with large domestic metal suppliers, we obtain volume discounts and can obtain steel in periods of tight supply. For instance, our strong relationships and large purchasing volumes enable us to maintain ample access to steel when supply becomes constrained such as during 2004.
Skilled Inventory Management
MSI manages a sufficient stock of inventory by utilizing management information systems and production control technology to track and allocate inventory on a real-time basis. Our advanced technology combined with our superior Client relations allows us to respond quickly to Client contracts.
The MSI Method
With three generations of experience, MSI has developed the MSI Method (link to services overview). The MSI Method has five (5) critical phases which are aligned with our service lines – Sales & Estimating, Engineering & Detailing, Project Management, Fabrication, and Erection. Throughout each phase of the MSI Method, Midsouth utilizes cutting-edge technology and qualified personnel in order to implement our services in-house or on-site depending on the needs of our Clients.
Quality Assurance
We understand that our Clients expect a quality solution. That is why we have developed project-specific and company-wide quality assurance and quality control programs to meet the needs of our Clients. MSI uses advanced welding and fabrication technologies, and all of our products are fabricated in accordance with applicable industry and specific Client standards and specifications. In addition, our welding personnel are certified in compliance with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Section IX.
